Does applying affect my credit score?
Making an enquiry with us does not affect your credit score. We discuss your situation first and only proceed to a formal application, which may involve a credit check, once you understand the options and choose to move forward.
Can I obtain finance if I am self-employed?
Yes. We work with lenders who cater to self-employed clients, sole traders and company directors, including low doc options where full financials aren't available. Approval is subject to lender assessment and individual lending criteria.
Can I finance private sales?
Yes. Many lenders on our panel fund private-sale purchases as well as dealer purchases for vehicles, equipment and other assets. We'll confirm the specific requirements for your purchase upfront.
Can I get finance with previous credit issues?
Possibly. We work with bank and non-bank lenders, some of which consider applicants with past credit issues. We assess your situation and approach lenders most likely to suit it, though any finance is subject to lender assessment and approval.
What documents are required?
It varies by lender and finance type, but commonly includes identification, and proof of income such as payslips or, for self-employed clients, financials or bank statements. We'll tell you exactly what your chosen lender needs before you apply, so there are no surprises.
How quickly can finance be approved?
Timeframes depend on the lender, the finance type and how complete your documentation is. Many assessments come back within one to two business days. We can't guarantee a timeframe, as approval is subject to lender assessment, but we work to keep the process moving.
Why use a broker instead of applying directly with a lender?
